Momentum Insure, a leader in South Africa’s financial services sector, is seeking a Junior Data Warehouse Developer to transform raw data into actionable insights. You’ll design Power BI solutions, ensure data integrity, and collaborate with stakeholders to drive data-driven decision-making. This role blends technical development (ETL, SQL, Power BI) with strategic analysis in a dynamic, federated work environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop Power BI dashboards and reports aligned with business requirements
• Perform ETL processes (SQL, SSIS, Informatica) and configure data replication (Stelo SQDR)
• Convert legacy Excel reports to modern Power BI solutions
• Ensure data governance compliance and promote reusable data standards
• Troubleshoot data errors, reconcile discrepancies, and validate outputs
• Collaborate with technical teams to define data sources and metadata
• Provide operational support on a roster basis

Qualifications

• 3-year degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics
• Introductory Cloud Certification - Desirable
• 1-3 years' experience as a Junior Data Warehouse/MIS Developer or related field (essential)
• Experience in ETL and visualisation tools (eg SQL, Informatica, QlikView, PowerBI etc)
